Payroll Specialist Responsibilities :

• Process and audit payroll; verify schedules, accruals, and deductions
• Update direct deposit, tax withholding, and other payroll info
• Provide payroll and attendance info to supervisors
• Coordinate with HR on union contracts and employee requests
• Maintain payroll systems and assist with Verifications of Employment

Requirements for Payroll Specialist :

At least five years of experience, preferably with a large company (400+ employees) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow procedures and work independently Strong communication and teamwork skills
