Title : Electrical Controls Engineer

Location : Anaheim, CA | 5 days on site

Contract : 22 months initial with potential for conversion to full time employment

Pay : $70.00-$80.00 / hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview :

We are seeking a Electrical Controls Engineer with deep expertise in electrical power metering and control systems to join a multidisciplinary automation and controls team . This role blends hands-on technical troubleshooting with strategic planning and proposal development to ensure the performance, reliability, and long-term sustainability of critical power metering infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Electrical Communications & System Integration

Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain communication systems related to electrical power meters.

Perform on-site diagnostics to identify and resolve issues with power metering equipment and control systems.

Assess aging metering infrastructure and collaborate on proposals for upgrades, replacements, or redesigns.

Conduct electrical and communication maintenance for metering systems to ensure continued accuracy and reliability.

Work closely with engineers across instrumentation, electrical, controls, and software disciplines on integrated solutions.
