The Opportunity :
We’re looking for an integrity-driven, creative Sales Executive who thrives on turning ideas into impact. This isn’t a rate card role — you’ll be designing innovative packages that blend digital, custom content, subscriber engagement, live events, while growing both new and existing accounts. If you get energized by pitching the big idea and seeing it come alive, this is your stage.
What You’ll Do :
Prospect and win new business while growing existing accounts.
Create innovative, multi-platform solutions tailored to client objectives.
Work closely with editorial, events, marketing, and digital ops teams to bring campaigns to life.
Own the full sales cycle end-to-end with transparency, and accountability.
Deliver measurable results and uncover new opportunities in an evolving market.
Sell media / tech across the Crain portfolio of brands.
What We’re Looking For :
5+ years in advertising / media sales, with proven success in enterprise-level, consultative selling.
Track record of building new business and growing client partnerships.
Creative thinker and storyteller with excellent presentation skills.
Integrity-driven and detail-oriented and accountable in process and reporting.
Polished presenter, comfortable influencing senior-level decision makers.
Salesforce CRM, Smartsheet, MS Office expertise a plus.

This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Pay Transparency Disclosure :
The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000-$140,000, in addition to being eligible for a sales commission plan. The final salary offering will take into account a wide range of factors, including experience, accomplishments and location. The salary range provided should not be considered as a salary limit or cap. In addition to base salary, Crain also offers competitive benefits including retirement plan savings contributions and bonus opportunities based on individual and company performance.
