Inventory Control Lead

Leads the daily activities of the inventory control staff. Ensures adequate levels of material and / or product inventories are maintained.

Essential Functions :

• Monitor results by shift / work area and communicate inventory and quality metrics to Inventory Supervisor / Manager
• Conduct analysis of inventory discrepancies and collaborate with operations to mitigate recurrence of issues
• Monitor systematic replenishment and direct completion of replenishment activities
• Leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing teammates on job functions / procedures to achieve objectives and productivity goals
• Planning, monitoring and managing actual performance against operational standards
• Account for in-stock merchandise conditions by audit, create exception reports and optimize inventory turns
• Create and maintain a robust cycle count program
• Analyzes and reports inventory discrepancies and slotting issues

Qualifications :

Education : Associate's Degree General Business required

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes

Licenses and Credentials : Experience supervisory experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified and working knowledge of AS400 5-7 years required
