Job Description

Responsibilities

Repair airframe, engines, structural, avionics, electrical, and hydraulics systems.

Conduct intermediate or depot level maintenance using various hand and power tools.

Remove and install aircraft panels.

Perform aircraft and component inspections.

Operate and test engines and auxiliary power units (APU).

Troubleshoot aircraft faults or perform Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP).

Operate aircraft tugs.

Essential Skills

At least 3-4 years of military aircraft maintenance experience.

Broad range of knowledge in repairing airframe, engines, structural, avionics, electrical, and hydraulics systems.

Experience with intermediate or depot level maintenance.

Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.

Experience with aircraft and component inspections.

Knowledge of engine / APU operation and testing.

Ability to troubleshoot aircraft faults or perform Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP).

Experience operating aircraft tugs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferred experience with military aircraft such as F-18, F / A-18, F-16, F-15, F-22, F-35, C-130, KC-135, E-3, E-2, EA-18, B-1, B-52.

Strong desire to learn new maintenance skills.

Ability to perform in high tempo work environments.

Opportunity to earn an A&P license with reimbursement after passing the test

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $52.00 / hr.
