We are seeking an experienced Project Architect (Arch Level III Licensed) with a proven track record on DSA projects to provide technical and team leadership on complex educational facilities. This is a leadership role critical to delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest design and technical standards. What Youll Do
- Project Leadership : Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and staff resource planning. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Engage with educators, administrators, students, parents, and consultants to collect feedback and develop designs accordingly.
- Project Collaboration : Coordinate with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure budget, schedule, and design goals are met.
- Technical Execution & Code Analysis : Oversee the development of construction documents and details, with a strong focus on constructability and building code compliance.
- Agency Management : Lead the preparation, submission, and coordination of all agency approvals, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Construction Administration : Facilitate communication between the design team, contractor and client to ensure a smooth and timely construction process.
What You Need
Bachelors or Masters in Architecture from an accredited school.Certification as a licensed professional is required, California preferred.8+ years of architectural experience with at least 4 years working on educational projects.Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related design software.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project coordination toolsA passion for creating spaces that truly make a difference!Candidates must be local to Southern California or willing to relocate, and able to work a hybrid schedule.Note : This is a full-time, direct-hire position.
