Professional Safety Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Occupied Hospital Safety Professional to oversee the safety of a healthcare construction project near Los Angeles, CA. Local candidates only - no per diem is offered.

Expectations

Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe serve in a dual role : where the initial objective is to operate in a consultative capacity by providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels. In addition, along with management, the Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe are expected to be a hands-on partner in delivering various safety initiatives and programs specifically to develop a safety culture supporting the goal and daily mission of “making safety simple but no simpler” in the course of any work performed by our clientele.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a titled safety professional in healthcare facility demolition, construction, and renovation.
• Local candidate near Baldwin Park, CA. No per diem is offered.
• Strong knowledge and background in PCRA / ICRA
• Occupied Hospital experience
• Knowledgeable with abatement requirements (i.e. asbestos, etc.)
• Knowledgeable with Drywall, Metal Framing, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing Trades
• Ability to work a night shift / graveyard shift (8pm to 4 / 6am)
• Proficient in technical writing and write high-quality reports of safety inspections
• Experienced with reviewing Job Hazard Analysis for High Hazard Work and daily Pre-Task Plans
• Ability to operate individually and as a team
• Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills
• CPR / First Aid Certified
• OSHA 30 Hour or similar
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in adverse conditions (I.e. dust, rain, heat, & cold)
• Ability to bend and / or squat repeatedly
