The Role

This individual contributes to the evolution of the Lumen Vyvx Broadcast Solutions platform by analyzing requirements, design / test solutions and ultimately deployment into production. This position will be focused on the infrastructure, applications and support systems required to operate a large-scale global broadcast media product.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through rigorous testing and validation. You will work closely with developers, operations, and other stakeholders to identify bugs, verify fixes, and ensure a seamless user experience.

The Main Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.

Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Github).

Collaborate with developers and operations to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

Perform regression and functional testing, and coordinate UAT testing as needed.

Maintain and update test documentation and test automation scripts.

Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

6+ years of experience in software testing or QA

Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JIRA, Playwright, or similar.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.

Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

Experience with SQL and database testing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Solid understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI / CD pipelines.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$82,969 - $110,625 in these states : AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$87,117 - $116,156 in these states : CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$91,266 - $121,688 in these states : AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
