A Brief Overview
Under the Marketing Project Management Director's supervision, the Graphic Designer & Social Media Coordinator will plan and oversee property marketing for assigned communities, designated regions, public relations programs, and social media efforts targeted toward driving resident engagement, increasing occupancy, resident retention, improving HMC brand perception, and developing positive relationships among the property, residents, and military commands.
What you will do
- Develop resident marketing collateral including newsletters and flyers for resident-related activities, events, and community gatherings.
- Work with the Regional Marketing Coordinators to develop and direct monthly and yearly property marketing plans in support of property occupancy and resident retention goals.
- Ensure effective control of marketing results, adjusting as necessary to guarantee the achievement of marketing objectives.
- Plan and oversee materials to support promotional activities, including print, online, social media presence, electronic media, and direct mail; prepare and recommend advertising and marketing strategies as appropriate.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with military partners, resident tenant groups, base services, military leadership, and key strategic partners.
- Develop and implement resident retention efforts and measure resident satisfaction through direct feedback.
- Develop and gain approval from site leaders and upload the monthly newsletter to websites and email all residents by the community as needed.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Marketing, Business, Property Management, or related field Preferred or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Property Management, or related field Preferred.1-3 years of experience performing graphic design and social media tasks. Required.Proficient in standard office software such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Email programs, and internet browsers; experience required with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and / or Illustrator. Canva experience highly desired.Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public. Detail-oriented, independent thinker; demonstrates strong attention to detail and basic knowledge of property management activities.Must be detail-oriented and able to work within specified deadlines; reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality essential.Compensation
