Job Description
Leader Bank Pavilion, a seasonal outdoor amphitheater, is seeking a Receptionist for our busy concert, commencement, and event season. This position will begin in March 2025.
The Receptionist will assist with administration, office management, and special projects while providing front line guest services to guests attending shows at our busy venue. Prior experience working in an entertainment venue and prior office experience are required.
This is a seasonal part-time role reporting to the Operations Manager. Hours by week will vary depending on business needs at the time.
Responsibilities
- Represent Live Nation and Leader Bank Pavilion to all venue visitors in a professional way
- Adapt to the needs of our diverse artists, audiences, changing schedules, and tours of varying sizes
- Office Duties include basic secretarial duties such as answering / returning phone calls, greeting visitors / staff, ordering office supplies, and maintaining a clean office environment
- Customer service : Professionally responding to emails regarding guest complaints, questions, comments about upcoming and past events
- Daily knowledge of the run of the show, set times, adapting to show scheduling changes
- Filing, logging lost and found items, mailing packages / letters out for various departments
- Maintain working knowledge of guest services programs and service recovery practices
- Responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue
- Assist with staffing and orientation initiatives
- Other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and Experience Manager
Requirements
1 year of office experiencePrior experience working in an entertainment venueDegree in music business or entertainment management a plusGreat attention to detail and ability to work against deadlinesStrong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAcute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacyPosition requires sitting, typing, walking and occasionally lifting 25 lbs. plus using proper lifting techniquesEqual Employment Opportunity
