Strategies to Empower People is looking to hire a full-time Program Manager II for our Behavioral Support Services department!
The Program Manager II for Behavioral Support Services will be responsible for program design, development and implementation strategies, supervision and consultation of individual clients' service coordination, treatment plans and effective implementation approaches and interventions for the individuals we serve in our community-based supported living program. This program serves individuals with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities (I / DD) who have consistent & severe behavioral and medical challenges in the greater Sacramento area.

SCHEDULE AND SALARY
The Program Manager II position is a salaried-exempt role which is on-call Monday through Friday and may be responsible for occasional weekend on-call coverage. Please note that this is NOT a 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. position! The Program Manager II is one of the last lines of supervision for our agency and needs to be an accessible resource for our clients and our employees!
The rate of pay for this position ranges from $94,000-$106,000 annually (depending on experience), including a one-time relocation reimbursement up to $2,500 depending on distance.
WHAT IS THE JOB?
The Program Manager II for Behavioral Support Services reports to the Chief Executive Officer to provide supervision and direction to a large team in our Behavioral Supported Living services program. The Program Manager II develops treatment plans for the clients we serve and develops staff understanding of trauma-informed care.
This position works directly with people who regularly communicate through challenging behaviors, including severe physical aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction. The Program Manager II is responsible for not only the health, safety and success of our clients but also the health, safety and success of our employees.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Program Manager II role requires at least two (2) years experience working in the behavioral health field. Experience working with individuals with the I / DD population is preferred.
This position also requires at least two (2) years of supervisory experience. This means supervising staff, NOT supervising individuals with disabilities!
Two (2) years of fiscal management experience is preferred!
This position requires a Master's degree in a related discipline and benefits from one of the following certifications / licenses : Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT); Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC); Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBCA) in the state of California.
Being a licensed and insured driver is necessary for this role, which includes having a clean driving record (no excessive points, and no DUIs / wet-and-reckless in the past 10 years).
LOCATION
This position operates out of our Sacramento office location, which is located at 2330 Glendale Lane in Sacramento, 95825. This is NOT an office-only position or a remote position! The expectation for the Program Manager II is to be on-site and available to support our clients in the entirety of the greater Sacramento area with occasional travel to the Sonoma and Placer counties as needed.
