As an Engineer II in the Mobile Solutions Aftermarket group with Donaldson Company, you will be part of a team responsible for managing product life cycle design changes for liquid filtration products used in medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines and vehicles across a wide range of on- and off-highway applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement, product management, test laboratories, and other cross-functional teams. The scope of this position covers the full catalog of Mobile Solutions products, including air, fuel, lube, and hydraulic filtration solutions. While the role supports a hybrid work model, the position is based in Bloomington, MN .

Role Responsibilities :

Update and modify product design changes as a result of changes in manufacturing equipment, transfer of product from one manufacturing location to another, vendor part changes, or manufacturing cost reduction initiatives

Develop and document test plans, execute these test plans and drawn conclusions from data.

Interface with product management, procurement, manufacturing engineers and lab technicians to ensure successful validation of design changes and product transfers.

Clearly and concisely communicate technical results through drawings, specifications, standards, reports, and other forms for internal and external customers.

Manage simple, moderate, and complex design changes through established processes and procedures.

Use your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to advance engineering projects.

Travel : Up to 15%

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

2+years of related professional engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments at any given time.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

Excellent people skills, ability to interface with designers, test technicians, manufacturing personnel, field service personnel and customers. Possesses energy, passion & enthusiasm to complete projects.

Demonstrated project management skills would be beneficial

Prior experience in filtration would be a plus.

Relocation : This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Annual Salary Range : $71,900 - $91,700.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
