Role Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the front line of our sales organization, prospecting, qualifying, and creating new opportunities for our Account Executives. This is a fast-paced inside sales role that demands hustle, creativity, and grit.

What You’ll Do

Prospect daily via phone, email, and social channels to engage new business and re-activate past customers.

Qualify inbound and outbound leads by uncovering pain points, decision-making processes, and project timelines.

Schedule discovery meetings and seamlessly hand off qualified leads to Account Executives and Managers.

Support quick-turn, transactional sales opportunities with quoting and order processing.

Collaborate with sales and marketing to build targeted lists and campaign messaging for key verticals.

Maintain accurate CRM records and stay organized in tracking progress against KPIs.

Continuously learn our portfolio of Motorola Solutions products and understand how our technology solves customer challenges.

What We’re Looking For

Strong phone presence and confidence in initiating conversations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

Curiosity to learn and ability to understand complex customer needs.

Ability to manage time effectively, juggle multiple priorities, and stay organized.

Experience using CRM systems and basic productivity tools (Google suite, Excel, etc.).

Understanding of B2B sales or lead generation experience is a plus.

Understanding of security technology is a bonus, but not required.
