Tessera is seeking a passionate and detail-driven Safety and Quality Control Inspector to support USAFA BMC operations. This vital role oversees safety, environmental management, ISO 9001 compliance, and quality assurance programs. Operating independently while collaborating with experts locally and at the home office, the inspector will help uphold Tessera's commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvementaffirming that every contribution matters and every voice is valued.

Typical duties include but are not limited to :

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety, quality, and environmental programs aligned with ISO 9001 standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coach and support personnel involved in local compliance efforts, fostering best practices and accountability.
• Coordinate and deliver training programs such as defensive driving, lockout / tagout, confined space entry, and fire protection.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and fire drills to ensure operational compliance and readiness.
• Investigate incidents and nonconformance issues, and prepare technical reports and corrective action plans.
• Draft and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and local operating procedures for EH&S functions.
• Collaborate with environmental offices and internal teams to manage SDS documentation and work order execution.
• Utilize systems such as Maximo, DoD e-Tools, and ESMIS to monitor data accuracy and identify trends.
• Review maintenance records and inspection files to detect recurring issues and recommend improvements.
• Provide independent assessments and recommendations to optimize site safety, quality, and environmental processes.
