LHH Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator (Payroll Specialist). You’ll oversee accurate and timely payroll for employees across multiple locations, ensure compliance with regulations, and serve as the main contact for payroll questions. Must have experience processing multi-state payroll. This position is onsite Monday-Friday in Melville and can pay $65K-$75K depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage end-to-end payroll operations (weekly, bi-weekly, special runs)

Calculate wages, bonuses, overtime, deductions, and taxes

Review and reconcile payroll data for accuracy and compliance

Maintain payroll records and documentation

Support onboarding, audits, and year-end tax processes (including W-2s)

Address payroll discrepancies and external requests (verifications, garnishments)

Liaise with payroll and 401(k) vendors

Requirements :

Associate’s degree + 4 years’ experience

Multi-state payroll processing required (PA and OH preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Paycor experience a plus

Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

Home care experience a plus
