Human Resources Assistant
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the HR and Payroll functions of our manufacturing facility in Chicago. This role reports directly to the HR Manager.
Location : On-Site position, Jefferson Park, Chicago, IL
Shift : Monday Friday 7 : 30am-4pm
Pay : $25 - 27 / hour
Responsibilities :
Bi-weekly Payroll processing
- Manage payroll documents
- Ensure pay changes were approved
- Work with Managers on timely approvals
- Work with corporate and Controller on completing payroll
- Run reports and maintain payroll files
- Ensure PTO reconciliation is completed using Excel and ADP reports
Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts
Maintain personnel records, in compliance with HR regulations
Manage badge system
Assist with Safety trainings and keeping safety records
Assist with benefit administration and become familiar with all benefit plans
Enforce company policies, rules and regulations
Assist employees with any questions or concerns
Work on the monthly company newsletter
Manage compliance spreadsheets in Excel
May be asked to go to Conxall location in Villa Park from time to time
