HR Assistant

Our client is seeking a HR Assistant to join their team in Itasca, Illinois. This onsite role offers an exciting chance to dive into the vibrant world of recruitment and HR. If you excel in multitasking and enjoy high-energy environments, this position is perfect for you!

HR Assistant Responsibilities :

  • Process payroll and checking timecards
  • Screen, source and interview candidates
  • Conduct background checks and onboard new hires
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding process
  • Provide clerical support and prepare HR reports
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations

HR Assistant Requirements :

  • 2+ year of relevant experience in recruitment and HR
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)
