Our Staff Counsel organization is currently seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our dynamic and growing team in the San Antonio / Austin Texas area. Remote- however must be located in San Antonio / Austin area

POSITION OVERVIEW :

Independently investigates and manages cases of moderate exposure and complexity in civil litigation from the inception of the lawsuit until conclusion through dismissal, settlement or trial. Works with adjuster and clients to resolve claims as expeditiously and efficiently as possible. Serve as mentor to developing attorneys.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL :

• Meets with clients and claims professionals to resolve cases in the most cost effective manner
• Conducts pre-trials, mediations, arbitrations or any other legal activity required
• May independently conduct trials
• Advises claim professionals on the evaluations of legal files
• Provides legal advice to clients and other claim professionals as needed
• Negotiates settlements as directed
• Attends round tables
