The Director, Health Center Operations assumes responsibility for guiding the strategic direction and overseeing operations at Vivent Health's HIV Integrated Health Center(s). These facilities deliver a wide array of essential services, such as Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, Case Management, Housing Services, Food Pantry Services, Legal Services, and Prevention Services. The Director, Health Center Operations collaborates with the Operations leadership and other members of corporate services on financial management, marketing strategies, and government relations responsibilities as well as continuity of quality care and service provided by the agency.

Provide Leadership and Direction :
Strategic Leadership : Provide strategic direction and leadership for the operations of Vivent Health integrated Health Center(s), aligning organizational goals with the mission and vision of Vivent Health. Lead and direct the Vivent Health Health Center(s) to ensure the successful operation of medical, dental, and behavioral health clinics, as well as case management, legal, housing, and food pantry programs.Operational Oversight : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health Center(s), ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services across all departments, including Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, Case Management, Housing Services, Food Pantry Services, Legal Services, and Prevention Services. Focus on increasing enrollment and retention of patients, enhancing patient outcomes, achieving operational excellence, and delivering high-quality services.Team Management : Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and support personnel, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community partners, government agencies, and funders, to enhance coordination of care and support the needs of patients served by the Health Center(s).Leadership Engagement and Presence : For Senior Directors of Operations that oversee multiple locations, each location must be visited at least once bi-monthly for regular relationship building and oversight.Ensure Work Environment Maintenance :
Quality Improvement : Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives within the Health Center(s), implementing evidence-based practices and best-in-class standards to enhance patient care and service delivery. Ensure proper maintenance of work environments and Health Center(s), adhering to established standards to provide a safe and conducive atmosphere for patients and staff alike.Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and contractual obligations, maintaining a culture of accountability and adherence to best practices.Collaborate with Employee Resource Center (ERC) :
Performance Management : Monitor and evaluate key performance metrics, such as patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance, implementing strategies to optimize performance and achieve organizational targets.Ensure Compliance and Quality Assurance : Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and grant requirements, actively participating in site visits and inspections as needed to maintain compliance and uphold quality standards.Stakeholder Engagement : Work collaboratively with the Employee Resource Center (ERC) to create an environment where talented staff can thrive, fostering a culture of professional development and growth.Partnership with Health Services Optimization and Grant Administration :
Strategic Partnerships : Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand access to services, enhance programmatic offerings, and advance the mission of Vivent Health.Stakeholder Engagement : Partner with Health Services Optimization and Grant Administration teams to implement and monitor Vivent Health approved practices, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices through effective implementation, training, and monitoring.Revenue Maximization, Budget, and Financial Management :
Budget Management : Develop and manage annual operating budgets for Health Center(s), ensuring fiscal responsibility and effective resource allocation to support programmatic goals and objectives.Plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor, and forecast budgets to achieve financial objectives, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficiency in resource allocation.Collaborate with the Vivent Health Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to maximize revenue, manage contracts, and optimize revenue cycle operations, aiming to generate revenue meeting or exceeding budget goals.Assure strong financial management of the Vivent Health Medical Center and Social Services, maintaining financial stability and sustainability.Reporting and Communication : Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership and board of directors, providing updates on programmatic activities, achievements, challenges, and opportunities.Adhere to all agency policies including Confidentiality, Employee Handbook, Health Care Corporate Compliance Plan, Standards of Conduct, and other relevant policies.NOTE : Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
