Responsibilities and Expectations :
Expertly perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
Skillfully diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues, accurately identifying root causes of malfunctions and recommending the most effective solutions.
Conduct regular inspections and thorough preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and proactively identify potential problems before they escalate.
Confidently install, repair, or replace various HVAC components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork.
Work seamlessly with team members to coordinate work schedules, prioritize service calls, and efficiently complete assignments, ensuring smooth operations.
Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, effectively addressing their concerns, clearly explaining repair options, and providing valuable recommendations for system improvements.
Meticulously document all service activities, including equipment status, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job, maintaining precise records.
Stay current with the latest industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies, continually enhancing your technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements :
A minimum of 2-3 years of HVAC experience specifically in residential service and maintenance operations.
Must hold Universal EPA certification; NATE or equivalent HVAC certification is preferred.
Solid understanding of local and national HVAC codes to ensure compliance.
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Basic experience with change order cost estimating.
High school diploma / GED required; an Associate degree is preferred but not mandatory.
Possess a self-starter attitude, demonstrate strong reliability, and exhibit flexibility with work hours.
Possess strong client service skills, a customer-first mindset, and a strong technical aptitude.
Bilingual skills are a plus, though not required.
Must maintain a valid driver's license and successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test.
