We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and streamline billing, collections, and cash application processes. This contract position is based in San Jose, California, and offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team while ensuring financial operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounts receivable functions and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities :

• Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.
• Process and reconcile cash transactions to ensure accurate accounting records.
• Oversee commercial collections, working closely with clients to resolve outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and analyze reports on accounts receivable aging and collection performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations during all transactions.
• Assist in streamlining processes to improve efficiency within the accounts receivable function.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to receivables.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable operations, including billing, collections, and cash applications.
• Strong understanding of commercial collections processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in managing and reconciling cash activities with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with financial software and tools used in accounts receivable management.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and compliance standards relevant to accounts receivable.
• Ability to support month end and fix assets are a plus!
