Job Description :

We are seeking a full-time Guardianship / Estate Planning Attorney. This role involves providing direct legal representation to caregivers of minor children who are not under the care of their biological parents but are under the legal care of a kinship caregiver. The attorney will handle Guardianship and Guardianship Advocacy cases, draft wills, and other estate planning documents.

Responsibilities :

• Manage a full caseload.
• Meet with clients to determine appropriate legal advocacy.
• Participate in court hearings, mediations, negotiations, and staff meetings.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings.
• Conduct outreach to community organizations to promote the Kinship Project's services.
