Foreclosure Attorney

Overview

McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking a Foreclosure Attorney with experience in Florida to join its growing practice. The ideal applicant will be a career-oriented professional with at least three years of experience representing creditors in foreclosures, evictions and / or title proceedings, or a strong desire to learn these practice areas. The applicant must have the ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, communicate professionally at all times, be effective working independently and as part of a team, and provide exceptional customer service. Leadership and management skills are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and management of high-volume statewide foreclosure matters.
• Ensure all appropriate actions are taken to expedite the firm's files.
• Act as a liaison between the firm and clients, vendors, outside counsel, courts, trustees, and other foreclosure personnel.
• Manage files by applicable foreclosure rules and firm-established timelines.
• Work within the firm's case management system to create, manage, and review daily and weekly reports.
• Review and execute various pleadings and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate updates in client and firm management systems.
• Outline, prepare, and present pleadings and other legal documents.
• Argue the merits of assigned cases at hearings, conferences, mediations, or trials.
• Attend and / or conduct public auctions as needed.
• Review title searches to identify any title issues and to determine the proper parties to serve.

Minimum Job Qualifications
