The Manager Of Financial Reporting And Quality Control supports the Senior Director, Sponsored Projects Financial Operations (SPFO) in leading the quality assurance efforts related to award setup, financial reporting, invoicing, and closeout of sponsored projects. This position will ensure financial related information is accurately accounted for and proper documentation is maintained within the University's Financial System (GMS). The Manager Of Financial Reporting And Quality Control directs day-to-day accounting and reporting operations and oversees the monthly reporting and invoicing processes to ensure compliance with the terms of the awards and applicable laws and regulations. Also acts as a team leader for the Financial Analysts team, and as a resource to the faculty, principal investigators, and finance staff, providing guidance and training in the administration of sponsored agreements and to ensure that operational responsibilities are fulfilled, policies are enforced and customer service goals are reached.
The Manager Of Financial Reporting And Quality Control assists the Associate Director, Compliance And Cost Analysis on annual Uniform Guidance Audit as well as any sponsor site visits and desk reviews. The Manager Of Financial Reporting And Quality Control will review grant related general ledger accounts; assist General Accounting Office (GAO) on monthly close. The Manager Of Financial Reporting And Quality Control also works on special projects, as assigned, and will have direct reports under its supervision.

This position has been designated as Hybrid. Pay Range : $54,616.00 - $100,493.33 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
