Our client in Akron, OH is seeking a proactive and personable Property Accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers the chance to work closely with customers, support a variety of accounting functions, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and working with data, this position could be a great fit.

Responsibilities :

Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close processes

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers

Manage collections, primarily through email with occasional phone outreach

Process cash applications and ensure accurate entry of payments

Prepare and post journal entries

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

Export data to Excel and use pivot tables to organize and analyze reconciliation data

Review and reconcile accounts payable transactions and accruals

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

At least 2 years of accounting experience

Experience with general ledger accounting software

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups

Ability to work independently and suggest process improvements

Pay Details : $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
