About The Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for Staff Accountant to join our General Accounting team. This individual will participate as an integral part of the accounting team during the month end close process, as well as contribute to financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and support of budget and forecast activities.

What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities

• Perform general ledger (GL) accounting duties, including maintaining general ledger accounts
• Participate in monthly financial close process including account analysis, account reconciliations, and preparing journal entries
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of balance sheet and reduce the risk of financial misstatement or financial exposure
• Provide balance sheet account analysis as requested
• Prepare journal entries along with required back-up
• Process reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate posting, prepare and analyze financial information, and report and explain variances
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts
• Assist with the documentation, review, and design of work flows and ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
• Analyze the basis and outcome of accruals monthly and quarterly
• Provide information and schedules to various departments
• Provide annual audit support
• Contribute to the measurement of Company key performance indicators
• Assist with other general ledger activities
• Additional duties as assigned
