LHH is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to join a highly regarded firm in Tampa, FL. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to provide essential support to attorneys handling corporate and transactional matters.
Overview
Responsibilities :
- Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support to corporate attorneys.
- Draft, proofread, and prepare corporate documents, contracts, correspondence, and filings.
- Assist with entity formation, maintenance of corporate records, and annual reporting requirements.
- Organize and maintain corporate files, minute books, and related documentation.
- Coordinate scheduling, manage attorney calendars, and track deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and government agencies.
- Support attorneys with transactional closings, including preparing closing binders and checklists.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a legal assistant, with corporate law experience required.Familiarity with entity formation, corporate governance, and transactional support.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Location
