JOB SUMMARY

The Lead Carpenter - Jobsite Supervisor will oversee remodeling projects from conception to completion, ensuring that work meets or exceeds industry standards. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques and job site operations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who can lead a team, manage timelines, work with our Project Managers and subcontractors and produce high-quality results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project Management : Directly supervise and coordinate remodeling or new construction projects with our team of carpenters and subcontractors, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints and maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Team Leadership : Lead, train, and mentor a team of carpenters and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Quality Control : Inspect work performed by team members to ensure compliance with blueprints, specifications, and building codes, while addressing any issues as they arise.
• Safety Compliance : Enforce safety protocols and procedures on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring all team members adhere to best practices.
• Material Management : Manage materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects, ensuring efficient use and minimal waste.
• Communication : Serve as the jobsite point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors, providing updates and addressing concerns as needed while partnering with the Project Manager.
• Problem-Solving : Identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality, using creative solutions to maintain project progress.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of project progress, timelines, and budgets, preparing reports for management as necessary and updating our software accordingly.
