Your Role

We are seeking a College Intern with interest in becoming a Tool Design Engineer (Injection Molding ) to join our Connection Systems North America (CS NA) team within our Signal & Power Solutions segment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of Plastic Injection Mold Tools for the automotive industry.

Key job responsibilities for this role include :

• Design and Develop Cutting-Edge Injection Mold Tools : Supporting the production of critical automotive plastic components.
• Drive Continuous Improvement : Optimize existing tools to reduce waste, improve uptime, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Collaborate and Innovate : Work closely with Product Engineering on new product development, from concept to production.
• Partner with Suppliers : Collaborate with internal tool suppliers for tool design and build activities.
• Global Knowledge Sharing : Share and learn best practices with Aptiv's global teams.
