The Construction Estimator is capable of collecting sub-contractor proposals and creating cost estimates and material takeoffs. The candidate must have an understanding of construction estimating principles, excellent analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the project team to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for leading the estimating process from inception to completion; providing accurate cost estimates and pre-construction budgets to the Director of Construction or the Project Manager. Additionally, the estimator will be responsible for developing and maintaining a data base for historical proposals, cost estimates and design drawings.
Responsibilities
The qualified candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, or related field or have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an estimator. Additional qualifications include :
