Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in industrial construction? Our client, a leading General Contractor specializing in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers , is looking for a skilled professional to join their team in North West Houston .

About the Role

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the preconstruction process, ensuring accurate cost estimates and competitive bids. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to develop precise takeoffs and pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• ️ Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial construction projects
• ️ Utilize OST (On-Screen Takeoff) to perform digital takeoffs
• ️ Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements
• ️ Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
• ️ Assist in bid preparation and proposal development
• ️ Identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities

Requirements

🔹 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial / industrial construction

🔹 Proficiency with OST (On-Screen Takeoff)

🔹 Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and costs

🔹 Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

🔹 Excellent analytical and communication skills

🔹 Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
