About Your Role
As the HR Generalist at iRent Everything, youll play a critical role in supporting our employees and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. This hands-on position will manage payroll, administer benefits, support employee relations, oversee compliance, and help foster a positive workplace culture. Youll work closely with leadership, managers, and staff to ensure HR policies and practices align with business goals and uphold the integrity of the iRent Everything brand.
This role requires bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and ensure accessibility of HR resources for all employees.
What youll Do
Payroll Administration
- Process weekly payroll accurately and timely for all employees
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws
- Manage reporting and reconciliations related to payroll taxes and deductions
Benefits Administration
Coordinate employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plansServe as the primary contact for employee benefits questions and issuesManage open enrollment, new hire enrollment, and ongoing eligibility updatesEmployee Relations & HR Support
Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies and proceduresAssist in resolving workplace concerns in a fair and consistent mannerSupport onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviewsTranslate and deliver HR communications, documents, and training in both English and SpanishCompliance & Recordkeeping
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsPrepare and maintain accurate employee files and HR recordsSupport audits, reporting requirements, and HR metrics trackingHR Programs & Initiatives
Assist with performance management cycles and employee engagement programsSupport learning, training, and development initiativesCollaborate with HR leadership on projects to improve processes and employee experienceWhat Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of HR generalist experience, with direct responsibility for benefitsBilingual (English / Spanish) required both verbal and written communicationKnowledge of HR laws, compliance requirements, and best practicesExperience with HRIS and payroll systems (Bamboo HR, or similar)Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionProfessional certification (PHR / SPHR or SHRM-CP / SCP) is a plusWhat We Offer
