Job Responsibilities :

Oversee daily accounting and finance functions including accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, and purchasing

Review accounting for GAAP compliance, accuracy, and consistency

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports

Analyze financial and operational data to assist with company decision making

Manage company’s treasury functions and monitor cash flow

Coordinate external audit and tax functions

Review contracts and agreements including leases and insurance renewals

Develop policies and procedures to safeguard assets, streamline operations, and ensure compliance

Maintain proper expenditure processes and approvals; review capital expense requests and bi-weekly payroll

Qualifications and Requirements :

7+ years accounting and finance experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Master’s degree or MBA preferred; CPA beneficial but not required

Experience managing a large team or group of managers

Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accrual accounting required

Health care experience preferred; revenue cycle knowledge beneficial
