We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Lowellville, Ohio. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations, including ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliation tasks. Prepare and manage general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation for monthly closings.

Assist in creating financial statements that comply with organizational standards and regulations.

Perform account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements and intercompany balances.

Provide necessary documentation and schedules to support audit processes.

Support accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure smooth and efficient processing.

Contribute to the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Help establish, refine, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

Participate in budgeting and forecasting efforts to support financial planning.

Update and maintain fixed asset schedules to ensure proper tracking and reporting.

Take on other related tasks as assigned to support the accounting department.

Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of accounting experience, including internships, is preferred. Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Effective organizational and time management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
