Shape precision parts that matter — Mentor, OH
Step into our Mentor, OH facility and run high‑precision CNC equipment that produces custom parts every day. We have opportunities for both CNC Mill and CNC Swiss Lathe operators across 1st or 3rd shift . If you’re new to the trade, we’re ready to train motivated, entry‑level machinists.
What a day looks like
You’ll begin by reviewing blueprints and operation sheets, pulling the right tools, and confirming fixtures meet spec. You’ll set up and zero in the spindle, assemble cutters in holders, and position them in the magazine. From there, you’ll load control media — tape, card, or disk — or retrieve programs from the database, dial in depths, speeds, feeds, and coolant, then perform prove‑outs (and manual programming during setups when approved by your Supervisor). Throughout the run, you’ll monitor the HMI, swap tools per sequence, measure parts to blueprint, and adjust controls to keep everything in tolerance. If automation acts up, you’ll run manually to complete the operation, troubleshoot media errors with supervisors or programmers, and keep machines clean and maintained. Safety and PPE are non‑negotiable — and you’ll help onboard and train new teammates when needed.
