Role snapshot
- Own setups and production on CNC lathes and 3–4 axis mills based on specs and work orders.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to plan machining steps.
- Monitor operations, verify dimensions, and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and resolve equipment problems quickly.
- Use precision metrology tools to confirm parts meet tolerance requirements.
- Collaborate with your team to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety practices.
What you bring
High school diploma / GED required; technical machining education a plus.At least 5 years of CNC operating experience in manufacturing, preferably close‑tolerance work.Proficiency reading blueprints and technical documentation.Working knowledge of CNC programming concepts, G-codes, and M-codes.Hands-on use of calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools.Independent, team-oriented work style in a fast-paced environment.Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention to detail.Proficiency checklist
