We provide innovative low voltage solutions, and we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver high-quality projects. Duties & Responsibilities

- Ensure the company complies with internal regulations and standardized processes.
- Manage a team of Preconstruction specialists, including Pre-Con Engineers and CAD / BIM modelers.
- Lead all preconstruction activities including project planning, budgeting, WBS creation, BOM & Spec validations, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Develop accurate conceptual and final estimates through collaboration with Estimating team; provide cost-saving alternatives and thorough risk analyses.
- Manage the bid process, including subcontractor solicitation, vendor negotiations, and scope definition.
- Manage documentation and handoff to Production teams.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to establish project scope and execution strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with E2 Optics'' preconstruction processes, including rigorous use of the Project Execution Checklist.
- Present preconstruction deliverables and recommendations to GCs, clients, internal leadership, Operations staff and project management.
- Supervise and mentor preconstruction staff, promoting quality, consistency, and professional growth.
- Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts as needed.
- Continuously improve preconstruction practices to drive operational efficiency and excellence.
- Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so.
- Travel : The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required; equivalent work experience may be considered.Relevant certifications preferred, such as :OSHA 30-Hour Construction CertificationCertified Professional Estimator (CPE)Project Management Professional (PMP)LEED AccreditationExperience
6+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management within the construction industry.Proven ability to develop detailed conceptual and hard bid estimates from conceptual design through construction handoff across various project types.Direct experience leading preconstruction efforts and collaborating with owners, architects, Estimators and project teams.Familiarity with using and enforcing preconstruction processes, including tools like the Project Execution Checklist.Familiarity with all phases of construction : estimating, procurement, scheduling, permitting, and construction startup.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, materials, and sequencing.Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.Thorough understanding of Agile management methods and practices.Proficient in construction management software, estimating platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a high-performing team under tight deadlines.Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to client satisfaction.Effective negotiation, leadership, and performance management skills.Ability to understand, follow, and enforce standard operating policies, procedures, and safety protocols.Extensive knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and practices.Highly organized with strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks, adjust to shifting priorities, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative in dynamic environments.Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, management, vendors, and clients.Commitment to operational excellence, safety, and continuous process improvement.Benefits

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and / or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods. The noise level is usually moderate. Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; use hands; stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand and walk. Regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and frequently up to 25 pounds. May require climbing ladders to 20 feet and working in tight spaces. Occasional travel by aircraft or motor vehicle within the region and to other locations as required. Regular attendance is essential.
