Assistant Division Director II - E10B Annual Salary :
- $115,000.00 + Full State Employee Benefits Travel is EXTENSIVE - Must posse ss a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
Days worked will be Monday through Friday, 8 :
00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. Hours worked may include extended hours and / or weekends. General Functions : Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities for the direction and management of major division activities involving the principal operations of the agency.This includes managing professional-level staff and overseeing multi-functional division operations.Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of professional business or public administration experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory or administrative capacity OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.NOTE :
No substitution is permitted for the required administrative or supervisory level experience. Job Duties This position both supports and reports to the Division Director III.Provides leadership and oversight for assigned DDS programs and units; supervises and supports professional staff to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.Collaborates with the Division Director to develop and recommend policies, procedures, and operational standards aligned with federal and state regulations; contributes to strategic planning and program evaluation efforts.Serves as a key advisor to DDS leadership, staff, and stakeholders on the interpretation and application of agency policies, rules, and service requirements affecting individuals and providers across the state.Monitors reports, audits, and program performance data to assess the effectiveness of service delivery and internal operations; implements controls and process improvements to enhance efficiency, accountability, and outcomes.Supports division-wide workforce development by overseeing staff training initiatives, promoting best practices, and ensuring equitable personnel policies that foster professional growth and team cohesion.Participates in the development and management of program and operational budgets; monitors expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with division priorities.Helps establish division goals and measurable objectives; provides guidance in the implementation of legislative and policy changes; analyzes proposed legislation to determine potential impacts on DDS programs and operations. __________________________________________________ If you have questions, please contact DHS.Careers@okdhs.org OKDHS is a Fair Chance Employer.This is a position in Executive Management.Announcement Number 25-JD210 83011418 / JR50364 Powered by JazzHR
