Electrical Field Engineer - Automotive Manufacturing

Overview

Our client, an established automotive supplier, is seeking a dynamic Resident Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work directly with key automotive clients as their primary onsite technical liaison. The successful candidate will be stationed at customer facilities, playing a crucial role in product launches, technical problem-solving, and relationship management within the automotive manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a client-facing environment, possess strong technical acumen in automotive systems, and excel at cross-functional collaboration. This position offers significant autonomy, visibility within our client\'s organization, and the opportunity to build long-term strategic partnerships with major automotive OEMs.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Problem Solving :

• Serve as the primary onsite technical point of contact for automotive clients, addressing technical issues and project updates
• Provide immediate technical support to resolve production and quality issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Support the launch, validation, and integration of new automotive products, components, and systems into vehicle development processes
• Interpret and communicate complex engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards to cross-functional teams

Salary : Up to $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
