What does a Resident Assistant - No Mandated Overtime do?

As a Full-Time Resident Assistant at Valley VNA Senior Care, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents in Neenah! You'll provide compassionate personal care, facilitating daily routines and ensuring comfort for retired individuals. Your responsibilities will include organizing engaging social activities that foster community and connection, delivering household assistance to maintain a welcoming environment, and offering nutritional support tailored to each resident's needs. Additionally, you'll be entrusted with medical monitoring and medication administration, empowering you to make a genuine impact on the health and well-being of our residents. This dynamic position not only allows you to develop your skills as a caregiver but also enables you to be a critical part of a caring team dedicated to exceptional service!

Flexibility is also key; you should be available to work shifts from 6am-6pm, 6am-2pm, or 2pm-10pm. Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• Requirements : - High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field - (preferably working with seniors)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assist with personal care tasks and mobility assistance.
• Availability to work either the 6am-6pm
• 6am-2pm
• or 2pm-10pm shift
• Currently have part-time position 6pm-9pm
