Position : Residential Electrical Supervisor

Job Type : Full-Time

Location : Nassau County, Queens, and Brooklyn, NY

Pay : $40 - $50 per hour, plus commission

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Electrical Mechanic to oversee all new, existing, and ongoing electrical installations and projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be in the field, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians, providing technical guidance, and ensuring all projects adhere to local codes and company quality standards.

Responsibilities :

Project Oversight : Oversee and manage all electrical installations and service calls in the field, including new installations, Service upgrades, troubleshooting, and repairs for residential clients.

Team Leadership : Supervise, train, and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring their work is performed to code and company standards.

Quality Control : Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality of work, and verify compliance with project specifications and safety protocols.

Technical Guidance : Provide on-site technical support and problem-solving for complex electrical issues.

Project Management : Plan, organize, and coordinate project schedules and material requirements to ensure timely completion.

Client Communication : Serve as a key point of contact for clients on-site, addressing questions and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Safety Compliance : Enforce all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for the team.

Documentation : Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a journeyman electrician, with a strong background in solar and residential electrical upgrades.

Previous supervisory or leadership experience in the electrical field is required.

In-depth knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes in Nassau County, Queens, and Brooklyn.

Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Must have own tools.

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rate of $35 - $50 , based on experience and qualifications.

Opportunities to earn additional income through a commission structure.

We are a residential Energy efficiency company installing Solar, roofing, HVAC, and Window replacement company servicing all of NY state, PA, and Ohio.
