BIM Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a full-time, in-person HVAC / Plumbing Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing and coordinating mechanical ductwork and plumbing systems for complex commercial projects, ensuring compliance with Plumbing Code, project specifications, and fabrication standards. Candidates should bring strong field experience—ideally as a sheet metal mechanic, sheet metal foreman, or licensed plumber—paired with the ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and submittals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clear, dimensional, and accurate coordination drawings.
• Identify and document discrepancies in contract drawings, providing mark-ups and submittals to Project Managers.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, trades, and clients, attending job meetings and site visits as needed.
• Monitor project progress, reporting additional work requirements not indicated on contract drawings.
• Ensure all design and detailing align with fabrication standards.
