Senior Marketing Manager - Sports & Entertainment

As a Senior Marketing Manager - Sports & Entertainment at Rocket, you will drive full-funnel brand marketing initiatives through strategic partnerships and experiential marketing with major sports leagues like the NFL, PGA, NBA, and MLB. You will develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns that build brand awareness, generate leads, and drive conversions through innovative brand activations with national sports teams and entertainment platforms. Your expertise in creating cohesive and authentic activations across Rocket's market presence, strengthen brand positioning, and deliver measurable business results through high-profile sports and entertainment partnerships.

About the role

Develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies that leverage sports and entertainment partnerships to build brand awareness, consideration, and conversion

Build and nurture strong relationships with athletes, teams, leagues, agencies, and other sports industry stakeholders to enhance partnership opportunities

Manage and execute brand activations that translate Rocket's brand positioning and values into compelling sports and entertainment experiences

Craft consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all sports partnership touchpoints to strengthen brand recognition and resonance

Analyze consumer insights and market trends to inform brand activation strategies that drive engagement and business outcomes

Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the full marketing funnel, using data to optimize brand impact and marketing ROI

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and maximize the impact of sports and entertainment marketing initiatives

About you

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field

7 years of experience in brand marketing, sports partnerships, brand activations, or a related field with demonstrated full-funnel marketing expertise

Experience working with major national sports leagues such as the PGA, NFL, NBA, MLB, or similar organizations

Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive brand marketing strategies through sports and entertainment channels

Experience translating brand positioning into experiential marketing activations that drive awareness, consideration, and conversion

Strong understanding of brand marketing principles and how to apply them across the entire customer journey

Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills with ability to translate data into actionable brand strategies

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field

Direct experience managing partnerships with multiple national sports leagues (PGA, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB) and executing successful brand activations

Experience with both B2B and B2C brand marketing initiatives through sponsorships and partnership activations

Established network in sports, media, entertainment, and agency sectors

Advanced proficiency in using performance metrics and data-driven insights to optimize full-funnel marketing strategies

Experience developing creative brand activation concepts that drive engagement across awareness, consideration, and conversion stages
