The Campus Planning team is responsible for the strategic plan for space allocation on the Comcast Center Campus in downtown Philadelphia (Comcast Center and Comcast Technology Center). Our workplace strategy team works cross-functionally on special projects or Campus initiatives that arise as we adapt to the changing needs of our workforce. We routinely evaluate the availability and use of specialty spaces, such as labs, IoT rooms, functional rooms, storage spaces, and open / collaboration spaces. Additionally, we generate a lot of end-user facing communications and materials that help us stay connected to our network of logistics champions and the general campus employee population.
Our occupancy planners manage seat assignments, coordinate employee moves, and partner with business units to optimize their footprint on campus or engage in restack efforts to better co-locate teams. We leverage iOFFICE (by Eptura Workplace) to engage directly with end users, so employees may virtually navigate our buildings and place facilities requests related to their space.
