Payroll Manager

Overview

Piper Company is seeking a Payroll Manager for a HYBRID opportunity in Wayne, PA. The Payroll Manager will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. This is a strategic leadership role ideal for someone with deep expertise in payroll regulations, tax compliance, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees
• Ensure compliance with federal, state / provincial, and local regulations
• Manage payroll schedules, reconciliations, and reporting cycles
• Partner with Finance, HR, and external vendors to ensure data integrity
• Lead internal controls and risk mitigation strategies
• Identify and implement process enhancements for accuracy and efficiency
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries and escalations
