POSITION SUMMARY :

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will be responsible for the management of the operations of the facility and will lead the prospecting and negotiation of tournament events. Operational responsibilities include but not limited to : guest services, tournament operations, facility & grounds maintenance, creating and executing special events, parking and other park operations. The AGM will also work closely with other departments to manage staff scheduling and training.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING :

• Prospect and lead the sourcing of tournament / sports events for the venue
• Negotiate deal points for tournaments, including ancillary revenue streams
• Create and execute in-house tournament events
• Overseeing the venue team's safety, quality, service, sales, and cost controls
• Overseeing the guest services & event operations teams
• Guest satisfaction systems, training, monitoring, and reporting
• Overseeing complex admissions, parking, and photography sales
• Overseeing the facility maintenance and janitorial departments
• Primary contact for all events after they have been contracted
• Event operations and execution with the highest level of excellence
• Oversight and implementation of all tasks related to operations development
• Participating in planning / strategic meetings
• Participating in the acquisition & training of staff
• Developing / integrating facility management software
• Developing operational Key Performance Indicator Reports (KPI)
• Helping with the implementation of marketing plan / strategy
• Developing the operational schedule
• Leading facility program schedule development
• Overall development, promotion, and sale of non-academy facility programs
• Serving as Manager-on-Duty ("MOD") during events
• All other duties assigned by the General Manager
