Position : Staffing Coordinator

Location : Orlando, Florida

Shift : Full-Time | 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM

Pay Range : $23 – $25 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the nursing department is efficiently and effectively staffed to meet resident care needs. You’ll manage schedules, track attendance, coordinate with department leaders, and help maintain smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact lists for all nursing department staff

Track and document daily attendance, tardiness, and absences

Notify the Director of Nursing (DON) of attendance or scheduling concerns in accordance with facility policy

Partner with HR and DON to schedule modified-duty staff as needed

Assist employees with timecards, day-off requests, and related scheduling forms

Create and post monthly nursing schedules based on census and departmental needs

Handle staff inquiries regarding schedules, timecards, and shift coverage

Ensure all new hires receive ID badges, timecards, and schedules prior to orientation

Maintain records of current staff certifications and licenses

Support census-based staffing adjustments while minimizing overtime

Prepare payroll for the nursing department and coordinate with staffing agencies when needed

Provide coverage for Unit Secretary duties during absences

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a healthcare or nursing facility

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
