Overview :
A leading provider of heavy equipment solutions is seeking a motivated and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building new relationships, generating leads, and closing deals in the construction equipment industry.
The successful candidate will focus on increasing market share by actively prospecting new customers, conducting in-person meetings, and providing equipment demonstrations. Key Responsibilities :
- Actively generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry outreach
- Identify customer needs and present appropriate equipment solutions, including sales and rentals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and repeat customers to drive long-term business growth
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and site visits with prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized equipment solutions
- Track all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in the industry
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings as needed
Qualifications :
Proven background in B2B sales, preferably within construction equipment, heavy machinery, or a related fieldStrong prospecting and cold-calling skills, with a focus on new account acquisitionResults-driven attitude with the ability to meet or exceed sales targetsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skillsComfortable working independently in a field-based roleProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office toolsValid drivers license with the ability to travel throughout an assigned territoryA degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus but not requiredWhy Join Us?
