Warehouse Maintenance Worker Level 2

CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF BROOME COUNTY Warehouse / Maintenance Worker Level 2   Salary       $16.00-$17.32 per hour                                             FLSA Non-exempt I.         QUALIFICATIONS   Education / Experience   High school diploma or equivalency Experience with maintenance / janitorial duties preferred   Skills   Good interpersonal skills Ability to work with team approach Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule Ability to manage time Must be able to lift and move furniture and be physically able to perform job duties.

Basic household maintenance skills If required, amenable to training on computer skill development The ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing 40 lbs.

Ability to legally operate a vehicle in NY State II.        RESPONSIBLE TO :

• Supervisor III .      MAJOR FUNCTIONS   Primary Duties   Assist in maintaining / organizing the warehouse Prepare orders for delivery Assemble household items as needed Assist with doing physical inventory Tag and organize new shipments that arrive Track properly signed documentation and approval prior to delivery Deliver light items to area locations Perform minor repairs and maintenance in residential sites Paint interior walls of residential sites and offices Understand and follow all program policies and procedures Report all program or resident sensitive situations to supervisor Participate in and successfully complete all required staff training and development activities Perform other related tasks as directed by supervisor         In compliance with all applicable government laws, rules, regulations and standards and all Catholic Charities Policies and Procedures the duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the above.
