Overview :
Seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager / Estimator to support preconstruction efforts across multiple commercial market sectors, with a focus on senior living and hospitality projects. This role includes work on various delivery methods such as design-build, CM, GMP, and lump sum.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review plans, specs, and site conditions to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and design partners throughout preconstruction phases.
- Build and maintain strong subcontractor and supplier relationships.
- Solicit, evaluate, and scope subcontractor and vendor proposals.
- Prepare detailed estimates with supporting documentation and takeoffs.
- Occasionally travel for meetings, design reviews, or site visits.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.5–10+ years of commercial estimating experience preferred.Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods.Proficiency in Excel and estimating software.Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
